Since we were talking about director/officer nominations in preparing for the
next annual meeting, please consider whether you'd like to serve as the next
secretary of FOLKs.
I must resign the post due to increased job responsibilities. In addition to my
current role at SECURA, I've just accepted a new responsibility as an adjunct
professor of risk management at UW-Oshkosh. I'm very excited about this
opportunity, but it will take a lot more of my time in preparation and travel!
The way it looks at this point, I will have to be in Oshkosh on Monday,
Wednesday & Friday mornings. For now, I'm still planning on attending the March
1 and April 13th meetings, unless it conflicts with the Oshkosh schedule. I
will
let you all know well in advance; I meet with the unversity representatives
next
week.
I am already a lifelong FOLKs member, and I'm happy to help with projects as
time allows. I'm just not sure I will be available for future board meetings.
I've also been on the board since FOLKs started - it's probably time for some
fresh ideas!!
I'll see you on March 1st, unless you see another message from me in the
meantime:)
