Good afternoon,
I just talked to the contractor for the taxiway and they are gonna start
tearing up taxiway alpha. Unfortunately this means all A/C in the north
hangars are stuck for at least a month. I spoke to kino to try to figure
out a way to get A/C out but we can only tow on ramp/taxiway surfaces. I
did put the idea of pulling airplanes through the glider ramp onto the
overrun on 22-04 but it's not something we can do. All paved ways out are
blocked off/ have trenches dug across them. I'm sorry for any
inconveniences. The taxiway project is changing day by day and we knew at
some point this was gonna happen. We planned on giving advance notice to
avoid this situation but unfortunately we were unable to.
