i was trying to install glib 2.8.0 version as i installed new debian sarge i was not able to install the newest version of xchat (i think 2.8) the error on trying ./configure was glib version required >=2.0.3 i installed glib 2.8.0 successfully but i was not able to correct the error upon installation of xchat it again gave the error like "cannot find glib" so infact the installtion was in vain, i wanted to uninstall glib-2.8.0 but was possible in no way On 2/4/07, Binulal N Achary <binulal@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
