PADRAIGH HAS A PROBLEM USING
facebook to access news stories , reading them and then sharing them with
friends.
Paul also uses facebook, and also reported that after every new update to
facebook, problems occur.
Paul suggested a two finger upward swipe to jump some of the many
images/graphics.
Padraig uses a three finger swipe from left to right , which works sometimes.
Cearbhall suggested useing 4 fingers to tap and jump to the next page.
There does not seem to be any sure way to jump into the story to share but a
mixture of all these swipes (one should work
It is a case of , finding out what works well for you,
And hopefully overcoming these facebook irritations.
Mary has a problem in using navigation on her iPhone, to locate a shop called
CLAIR on Grafton street. In the end she asked a sighted girl to locate the
shop and direct her to it,
But would rather be able to use Google maps or something else to solve this
problem for herself.
Cearbhall directed her to the Google app, where she can get directions and
navigation for herself,
Or to use foursquare ( blind square) to direct her.
Siri also is quite good, as using Google (voice search), which Paul did and
found the address and directions very quickely.
Paul showed Mary , how to read a poem(image/photo)
Tap on the image sent to you and then go to share and go to the next share
button, and arrow right until you
Hear recognise by seeing ai
Mary air dropped the image onto Paul’s Iphone 7, , and Paul demonstrated
this, and the poem was read without a hitch.
Marian is interested in downloading the foursquare app, and try during the
week to use it and see how useful it could be.
Mary brought back some nifty air pods, which everybody thought were great and
a bargain at 12€
