The meeting started with a discussion on an app, called Transcribe
IT IS AN APP WHERE ONE CAN LEARN MUSIC, AND CAN SLOW THE MUSIC OUTPUT
WITHOUT CHANGING THE PITCH , OR MELODY.
Albert finds this app , invalualable for learning music scores.
Paul shared his tech weekend, his daughter bought a Hyundai car , its an
2013 model , and the model was i130 Hatchback.
Paul asked Google to look for the spec on the car,
Google brought him to U tube, where a guy started the engine, and discussed
all the features for that model.
Paul learned that the car was voted car of the year for 2012,
Paul was able to copy the link and send the video to his daughter and son in
law.
Mary was sent an mp3 file, which was a music file which she wanted to add to
her playlist, but this was not
Possible. Jackie/Bert, said that she must convert this to an MP4 file, in
order to add to her particular list.
Mary is going to download Goldwave.
Mary is still having to manually put in her password for Audible, as she
changed her Amazon password, now Audible does not recognise her password.
Paul said perhaps she should log off from audible, close account, and
Register again as a new user, and use her old password.
Cearbhall and Tom discussed the Orbit reader, and we learned that Tom,
Is leaving his Orbit reader in his will to Lady Jackie (these wearwolves
would freighten anybody into toing anything!!)
Cearbhall said to find out your version of Windows, type in the word WINVER,
In the search box at the top of the start up menu, and this will tell you
what version of Windows , you are using.
Paul told the meeting of the bad publicity
On RTE Liveline programme, the many scams using Bank of Ireland.
Many people had texts sent to them purporting to come from this bank,
But off course they were scams. Many people lost thousands of € by falling
for a very realistic copy of the bank of Ireland website, unfortunately
The bank did not take up the offer of having a spokesperson available on
air.
Cearbhall asked everybody to mute themselves to find out where noises were
coming from, people sometimes think that muting themselves means that they
will not be able to hear the meeting, but off course this is wrong.
Regards Paul
