Dear Tracy,
I am copying this message to the FB-Exchange group who are all using
BorrowBox now and are concerned to know that it is fully usable.
A major issue has arisen! Today we tried to examine the "Loan History" using
Voiceover.
In my own history, I have five books that are dated "5th of August" preceded
by one book dated the 8th of August and followed by a series of books
starting at 28th of July etc.
When I move Voiceover to the Loan History icon and then double-click I get
the review page of the book that was downloaded on the 8th of Aug. That's
fine! Then I move my rotor so that I can move to the 5th of Aug. I double
click and then hope to see a new book. However, I see the title that I
downloaded on the 8th of August but not the one that I downloaded on the
5th! I try again and again until all four 5th of Aug books are tried. In
all cases, I only see the book of the 8th of August!
Incidentally, I am told that there is a visible icon at each of these dates
showing the cover page of each book that is causing each date to appear.
1. Firstly, we need to know which books are located in the history
under each date, just as the app is designed to show visually.
2. Secondly, we need to navigate to each individual book but Voiceover
is not able to bring the app focus to each title that is spoken.
I am really disappointed to have discovered this after all our work over the
past few months. This situation is totally unmanageable for a Voiceover
user. It actually degrades the whole app to only partially usable!
