photos and data on the building.

Extra, extra, read all about it:

Tom Haney got wire spools out of a lid to one of the wire recorders and one
of the wire recorders works and you can hear the recording.

Bill and Brian, yours to use, though it might be a good idea to record the
recording so as not to wear out the machine or the wire.

Ongoing artist work down here.

Before another day passes without me having sent any history, here's my
rough Evernote note for Eyedrum's building on South Forsyth. It's basically
in reverse chronological order showing various tenants, photos, etc. since
its beginning circa 1913.
https://www.evernote.com/shard/s5/sh/33d49a46-3909-4a88-a22b-958428dd52e0/c15b9938e58e54d18a8f6ad9dc4dbfc3

Words of caution:
- I've also included some information on parking garage on the corner.
- Atlanta's streets were renumbered in 1926.
- I'm pretty sure that 90 Forsyth St used to be the address for the
building next door to Eyedrum's. The address for the restaurant immediately
adjacent to Eyedrum was 88a. That's because addresses were assigned
approximately every 20 feet. The Eyedrum building has 6 storefronts but is
only 113' long so it only got a block of 5 addresses.

I'll try cleaning this up and pulling in some other supplemental materials
as well as some background regarding what else was happening in the
neighborhood. Also, the building's contractor, Moise DeLeon, has an
interesting story. Supposedly he was on his way to Michigan for a fishing
trip and got "brain fever," was lost for a year, and then was found in
Australia! He built this building shortly after his return to Atlanta.
