removing the 'internet newsgroup' public folder

Hi,
I am trying to get rid of the 'internet newsgroups' public folder on a
win2k3 ent server running exchange 2003 ent ed...
...But I am unable to delete it. I read that some people simple gave
everyone no access to the folder, but I would prefer to delete it.
Is that possible?
