Why Can't I receive External emails?

I'm running Active Directory windows 2000 advanced server and have a
domain on the web.

i set up exchange 2000 and can send and receive email internally.

I can send email out to my yahoo account but cant receive from my yahoo or
work account.

Does anyone know what I need to check?
