Raj,

Thanks for the information. I have gone through this process. Why would
removing that connector cause errors when sending to external addresses?
(If it is too long to explain, dont worry about it, I will read about it
tonight)

Here is some more information while I am waiting on the routing to
recalculate:
When sending from any of the 3 remote sites, as soon as I send a message I
get this reply:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
Subject:
Sent: 2/6/2003 4:49 PM
The following recipient(s) could not be reached:
'chriswall@xxxxxxxxxxx' <mailto:'chriswall@xxxxxxxxxxx'> on 2/6/2003 4:49
PM
The recipient name is not recognized
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p= etc.....

Is this what should occur if the routing tables are not correct? Why would
it not try to send out through the bridgehead? The other servers in the
same building of the bridgehead were not affected. Why would their routing
tables not need to be recaulculated?

Chris

Have you done route re-calculation after deleting the X.400 connectors. If
not do so. This may fix your problem.

Running Exchange 5.5

Here is the issue:

Our company recently split from our European division and we were no longer
synching with them. All e-mail has been running fine for the past two
months since we split. They are running their own exchange environment and
their e-mail addresses have changed so I deleted the Directory Replication
Connector with their site then removed the X400 connector to the ESSC.

Since breaking the connections, our remote sites are unable to send external
mail. They can recieve from outside, but not send. I am currently located
where our bridgehead resides and we can send external and internal mail
fine. What could be going on? Do I have to run the DS/IS consistency
adjuster? We are able to send internal mail with no problems....

Please help or let me know if you need any other information.

Chris
