RE: Sending duplicate emails to the list

I was rather disappointed that after having this conversation last week that
the majority of emails from this list this morning and over the weekend are
multiple sends. Nearly all of them look like non-technical duplicates (IE
sender sending the stupid thing multiple times).

This, in fact, causes me to tune the request out. I'm sure others will
answer it, but I will not. It proves 1) they are not keeping up on the list
or 2) they are impatient, immediate-feedback types who can't wait a while to
see if their email shows up on the list like everybody else's is (you're
getting other's emails, aren't you?).

Sorry, stuff like this just annoys me.

Maybe they think we will answer faster if they pound us with the same email,
over and over.

Why is there a recent trend to send multiple emails to this list? This has
been an issue with a couple users in particular, but happening frequently in
general. Some appear to be of a technical origin, but others are simply the
person sending more than one email saying the same thing.

In Exchange 2000 is there a way to customize the message sent when users
reach the size limit?
