SMTP Auth and Exchange

Hi,

Is "SMTP Authentication" set up by default in Exchange 2003, or is there a
place this can be configured?  Our customer wants to able to authenticate
some applications to send email through the Exchange server and those
applications work with email servers that support "SMTP Authentication".
