Here i'm using ARCserve v9 with Exchange. Works perfectly if I want to
restore a single message or folder. Previous versions of the Exchange
Agent were quite flaky, but the latest version is the best thing I've
ever worked with.

It's definitely worth the money. It backs up my database at
mailbox-level with a thoughput of 80mb/s on an external DDS-3 Sony Tape
Drive.

John,

I have been using ARCServe 2000 for the past 3 years and it has been
running fairly smoothly. I have Exchange 5.5 but am currently upgrading
to Windows\Exchange 2003. In this process, I am looking to go to
ARCServe v9, but we have determined that this is quite pricey for all of
the needed agents. I have also had a hard time restoring our Priv and
Pub databases from the ARCServe product. It has a 'decent' interface,
but now we are seriously looking to get away from their product.

I have been turned to Netvault by Bakbone for backup/restore
software. I have only heard good things about this product so far.

Chris
