Outlook Reminders

Could any one point me to the a fix for this:
have had problems with Outlook reminders for about 4 months now. I need to
fix this. As an example, right now it's 8:31, and I have a 9:00 concall on
my calendar mgr. I have gotten the pop-up reminder 10 times already, and
every time I click on the dialog box where it says "remind me 5 min before
the meeting". It pops up again and again. Pls help me fix this.
