Moving to exchange Login Question

Hello
Will be moving a site to exchange in the coming months, not many of the users
have a domain login that is when they log into win2k they only log into the
actual PC. This is because all their existing settings (mail, desktop, mydocs
etc)would be lost if we moved them all to domain logins.
Does this affect outlook logging into exchange ?
