Microsoft outlook client problem

hi
I am facing very serious problem while i am connecting exchange server
2000 from my MS outlook client it is saying that
your logon information was incorrect acheck user name and domainthen type
password again. if your account is new or your administrator request for a
password change ..................
the same user login is working in MS outlook from other machines.
please give me the solution if any body faced it previously.
