1) Did you do a rebuild after the user was added?

2) KB 259221

RPC/HTTP requires no special permissions. It just uses the address lists

Subject: [exchangelist] RE: Mailbox Permissions & RPC over HTTP

Hi Michael!

1) The standard Offline Address List is generated.
2) How can I find out whether users have access to OAL or not? There is
no Security tab for OAL in the properties of OAL.

Authenticated Users and Evereyone have standard default permissions in
EXchange 2003. I think these permissions are enough for users to access
The users can use IMAP/POP3 or OWA without any problem. The problem is
with RPC over HTTP users.

Best Regards
