IMAP access to other user's mailbox

Hi!

I know that in Exchange 2000 it is possible to configure a user to have
access to several mailboxes. My question is the following:
Can that user still access several mailboxes when accesssing the Exchange
server using IMAP? Or that feature can only be used when using the
Microsoft proprietary protocol?
