Filtered mail

Hi list, I would like to know if there is a way to retrieve a filtered message
for exchange 2k.
I have been filtering junk email using the native exchange 2k global settings
and has been quite successful in filtering email to the default virtual server
directory.
On the very odd chance, I might need to recover one or two messages out of a
hundreds. Now, I can see every filtered message are being saved as a separate
tmp file and I can sort of view it using notepad.
Is there a way to retrieve/view these message?
