Hi,

 

The Backend Exchange server at our Organization is getting shutdown 
automatically without any warning or pop up.

 

Server Configuration is : HP DL380 G3

Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition SP1

Windows Server 2003 Enterprise with SP1

 

An event is generated in System log is given below :

 

Event Type: Information
Event Source: USER32
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1074
Date:  12/19/2007
Time:  7:45:17 PM
User:  CIIONLIN\administrator
Computer: CIIDELBEEXCH
Description:
The process winlogon.exe has initiated the power off of computer CIIDELBEEXCH 
on behalf of user CIIONLIN\Administrator for the following reason: Legacy API 
shutdown
 Reason Code: 0x80070000
 Shutdown Type: power off
 Comment:
