Any number of things. Best to start by getting a better error report. Can
you clean up the error by maybe looking at it local to the server?

Also, what version of Exchange 2K are you running. There are many fixes
that may apply to pop errors.

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Guys,

I have exchange2k running on win2k. users are using exchange when in the
office and when outside they prefer using pop3 to get their email from
exchange server. recently i encountered this problem and from then on i
cannot received emails using pop3.

description for event id 1021 in source POP3SVC cannot be found. The local
computer may not have the necessary registry information or message dll
etc...
The following information is part of the event:
POP3,D:]Program files\bin\pop3be.dll, 0x7e

So what do i need to do guys to be able to use pop3 again?

thank you so much
