Exchange NT4 to WIN2K

Exchange 5.5 NT4 to WIN2K
NT4 SP6A Exchange 5.5 SP3. .Domain presently using NetBios name dname.
When upgrade to Win2K, do I not have to change the domain to dname.com and
server to server.dname.com? If so that will be a problem. We have a web
server at another location using dname.com and the Exchange 5.5 is using
dname as it's NetBios name and is publishing dname.com. Do I have to change
the NetBios to a FQDN?
