Event 3093 PF [Replication Error -2147221233]

All,

We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
We were able to successfully move mailboxes between servers and were
able to successfully populate the PF Highearchy by using PFMigrate
script. The pub.edb on Exchange 5.5 is about 28 GB and it was
replicating to Exchange 2003 happily till Pub1.edb on Exchange 2003
server was 14 GB and then we started seeing errors by turning Diag
loggin on MSExchangeIS-Public

We restated the Exchange 2003 & Exchange 55 server and still no luck...

We followed KB 812294.. but do not find Replication key there...

Also under 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExcha­ngeIS\ExchangeServerName\<<PublicUniqueID>>
was deleted and IS was restarted.. still no luck...

We are really running short of ideas and are looking forward to help
from you all.
