Dear all,

Do you think my concept will work? That is, would the certificate generated
from a AD domain be recognised on a NT4 domain?

Current Domain = NT4.0
Current Exchange Server = Exchange Server 5.5 with SP4 service pack running
on Windows 2000 Member Server
Current OWA 5.5 = OWA 5.5 server with SP4 service pack running on Windows
2000 Member Server

What I intend to do are :-

1/ Build a standalone Windows 2000 Active Directory domain with MS Authority
Certificate Server.
2/ Generate a certificate from this standalone AD server for OWA Server that
belongs to NT4 domain
3/ Apply this certificate to \\OWAserver\Exchange <\\OWAserver\Exchange>
virtual directory to become SSL directory.

Thanks.
