Hi Jethro

Can you check your Recipient Update Service is configured correctly, make sure
its pointing to a valid DC and Exchange server and that the run interval is set
to Always.

You can also turn up diagnostics logging for the msExchangeAL on the server and
then force RUS to perform an update or rebuild and check the App Log for any
errors, here are some links to articles about troubleshooting RUS:

Subject: [exchangelist] After Creating a user e does not create smtp and x-400

http://www.MSExchange.org/

Hello all,

I have a Windows 2003 Server , With is a DC , and i also have Exchange 2003
installed on-it , the problem that i´m having now is that after i go
on the AD , and
create a user , and select to also create a exchange mailbox . Whem i go to the
user properties and check the e-mail addresses , i got nothing , no
SMTP and No X400 , i check the recipients policies on the exchange and
i do have the default
for the SMTP and the X400 , and also i have created one for the same addresses.

I have checked the event logs and found no errors at all...

Any help will be very good , thaks all.
