Thanks Greg. It's now been over 40 minutes since the changes were made. I have logged off the user and logged back in several times on different computers. Now that I have been thinking about it more... If a user was accessing their mailbox (full permission) through Oulook from separate trusted forest, do the public folder permissions not apply because the user from a different forest is not in the GAL? For example, if you you adjust the Client Permissions on a public folder, your list of available users comes from the GAL. Well, our users are in a separate forest while logged into Windows, and their Exchange account mailbox permissions (rights) have their user account from the other trusted forest setup for full mailbox access and read permissions. And obviously this separate account is not listed in the Exchange GAL. So the next question is: If a user in a separate trusted forest has been granted full mailbox access and read permissions to an Exchange account (the Mailbox Rights section), will they inherit the public folder permissions from the Exchange account? Thank you, ...D
