Upcoming Public Outreach Events
We have three events this week.
Tuesday, January 26th is Charlotte Patterson Elementary (7520 S Adora Blvd in
Gilbert 85298) from 6:30-8:30 pm. This is their annual Math, Science and star
gazing night for the school. Contact is Kelly Segerstrom. Nearest cross
streets are Val Vista & Riggs Rd. Set up location is drive leading to the
basketball courts on the north side of the school. They expect about 200
participants.
Wednesday, January 27th is Concordia Charter School (142 N Date in Mesa 85201)
from 6:30-8:00 pm. This is a star party for the 3-6th graders studying the
solar system. Contact is Diane Fernichio. Nearest cross streets are Date &
Main St. Set up location is the parking lot on the east side of the school.
They expect about 50 participants.
Thursday, January 28th is Frye Elementary (801 E Frye Rd in Chandler 85225)
from 6:00-8:00 pm. This is a math and science fair with star gazing. They are
expecting about 250 people. Nearest cross streets are McQueen & Frye. Setup
will be in the amphitheater in back of the school. Contact is Cecilia Loera.
If you can provide a telescope or assistance for these events please send an

want to bring a telescope, we can always use some help in talking about
astronomy to the participants.
