Well done Michelle and the rest of the teachers! May I suggest the following
addition that we as teachers can use when we send letters to the relevant
authorities?
I am also a teacher in this programme and firmly believe that we as teachers
are providing a necessary service to those whose natural abilities entitle them
to learn English as a first and not as a second language.
It is imperative that these students learn English in the morning parallel to
the regular English classes – when they are at their optimal learning capacity.
I strongly urge you to continue to support this very important program and
provide us with a solution for the future, before the end of the current school
year.
