WOW! You definitely need to send this information. Nurit Valency from the Irgun specifically said that anyone who receives threats of any kind, in writing, oral or veiled, should send her an email stating exactly what happened and who said what so that she can pass it on to Dr Shoshani. She said that she has told Dr. Shoshani that there is pressure being put on the English teachers, but as long as she does not have concrete names and proof, it is not taken seriously. She claims that Dr. Shoshani will relate to any threats, whether they are direct or veiled. Let's hope so. When the Kfar Saba coordinators from all 4 high schools sent a letter saying we wouldn't implement the program we were supported by the principals and basically ignored by the higher-ups. Many people, including the Irgun, told me that teachers CANNOT be sued or held responsible in any negative way for following Irgun sanctions. Actually, it would be good to get the parents involved in the fight. More irons in the fire, so-to-speak. Hang tight!
