[etni] jail and gaol

In Cork, Ireland all the signs for the historical jail house
which was later used as a radio station are written "gaol."
In Dublin, all the signs for the modern day jail for
criminals are written "gaol." Until I saw those signs in
Ireland, I thought that "gaol" was obsolete. I guess I was
wrong and it is used in Ireland, not only in England.
