thank you leah for your article. i agree with you and think that LD students
especially benefit from cursive handwriting. however, i find that it is
easier for them to use d'nealian. those that are not LD, can continue to
script.
many of my students (high school!) beg me to help them learn cursive and i
give them worksheets to practice.
i also put an emphasis on neatness, margins, headings, correct paper
direction, etc.
oh, for our penmanship lessons!
