Hi All,
One excellent presentation, by Susan Holzman, was inadvertantly left
out of the program for the summer conference. This session will be
presented at 11:30 on Wednesday July 4th in room 402. Please add this to
your program if you are printing the program from the ETAI site.
Title of Presentation :The Educating Editor
Summary of Presentation:
Teachers might do well to assume the job of ?educating editors? on their
first reading of student texts, offering suggestions for improving
accuracy, clarity and coherence When teachers have editing skills and
students are taught to comprehend their ?editor?s? feedback, the dialogue
can result in vastly improved student writing.
