**** ETNI on the web http://www.etni.org.il http://www.etni.org **** Announcement from the English Inspectorate: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are in need of Bagrut examiners for this summer. If you are currently teaching in the 12th grade in a school recognized by the Ministry, read on. The following are the Ministry's requirements for marking Bagrut exams: 1) You must have an Israeli teacher's license for teaching English in high school. 2) You must be currently teaching Bagrut classes in a high school recognized by the Ministry. 3) You have to have taught classes for Bagrut for the last four years. 4) You have to have completed at least one hishtalmut in English given by the English inspectorate since 1999. If you are in the middle of an NBA course now, ask the instructor to email Judy Kramer (judkrame@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) confirming your participation. This will count as having one hishtalmut. Participation in ETAI sessions are not recognised as hishtalmuyot. 5) If you fulfill all the above requirements, contact your local English inspector and ask him/her to email a recommendation to Judy Kramer. 6) Fill in the form linked from the homepage of ETNI. This form has to be sent as soon as possible by registered mail to: Menahelet HaMarvad Rehov Bar Yehuda 3 Kiryat Ono 55404 If any section of the form is not filled in, we will not be able to process your application. Applicants who do not have all the above requirements are requested not to apply. Please note: This step is being taken due to extenuating circumstances. Only examiners who can commit themselves to work till the end of the summer session should apply. The work entails marking approximately eight hours a day from the last week in May until the end of June. Examiners who are suitable may be asked to mark also Moed Bet.
