November 11th. This is a date that needs to be taught in all High Schools. And
if you don't know why:
On that day, World War I - the "War to end all Wars" came to an end.
Hostilities formally ended "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month"
when the Armistice was signed - hence "Armistice Day" in the USA, and
"Remembrance Day" in the British Commonwealth countries.
