*T.E.A.M.* invites you to another fascinating lecture given by
*Edmund Jonah*
*"Yeshua ben Yosef, The Jew who became the God of the Christians- How did
it Happen?"*
Edmund gathered his information from extensive research on his book
"Yeshua." We will learn much about the Jew who, like others before and
after him, believed themselves the Messiah, which led to their inevitable
executions.
Edmund has had short stories and poems published in several magazines and
anthologies as far afield as New Zealand, Canada, India, UK, USA, and
Israel. His is a founding member of TACT (Tel Aviv Community Theatre) as
actor, director, and vocalist. Two plays he directed were chosed to
represent Israel at the annual Dundalk, Eire Theatre festivals. He also
helped found the Shakespeare Reading Circle which still meets today after
40 years. Since retiring he has added lecturing on various subjects and
readings from his published stories to his schedule.
Edmund was born in Calcutta to Iraqi Jewish parents, and was eduated by
Belgian and Canadian Jesuits in the Himalayan town of Darjeeling. He spent
ten years in London, married there and made Aliya 48 years ago.
