Really?  What about the opposite?  We're the central Jewish community, and 
I'd like the Diaspora to recognize that.  Their lack is what is behind 
their desertion of us.  With the growing world-wide anti-Semitism, 
especially in Europe, in the long run, we're safer here.

I have enough to do in my classroom, rather than teach my kids about the 
great Diaspora.

I'm here and have been here for over 30 years.  That's my lesson.
