Hi All,
Thought I'd post this in case any of you have kids/students/relatives who are 
native or near native speakers of English and might be interested in taking 
part in a summer program in Spain.  It's a program that is similar to the 
adults' program which I participated in a few years ago - great fun and a 
wonderful way to have a low-cost vacation in Europe.   You have to simply pay 
the air-fare to Spain and then full board and lodgings are provided free for a 
week while you are paired up with Spanish learners of English and simply talk, 
walk and organize various activities together.   Obviously the teen program is 
more structured and directed than the adults' program but basically the Spanish 
kids pay a fortune to be immersed in an English speaking environment which the 
visiting native English speakers provide.

Hola from Spain! How are you?  We are contacting you today as you have 
previously been a part of the unique and unforgettable experience that is 
Pueblo Ingles. I'm sure you will agree that it is a thoroughly enjoyable and 
richly enhancing life experience that everyone should be encouraged to enjoy 
and learn from. Now, imagine if a young person in their formative years could 
experience this amazing cultural exchange and the amount of benefit they would 
receive as they are growing their own personality and offer to the world. 
Imagine how much they would gain and the impact it would have on their own 
lives and those around them! They could truly take that experience which will 
give them the confidence, self-esteem and that all important positive attitude 
that will help create a huge impact on their futures. Not to mention the 
lifelong friendships they will make from across the globe! As you may or may 
not be aware, that is a real possibility and is happening each summer in the 
Iberian sun! The very same concept and ethos, all coordinated by the fabulous 
PI staff at several Spanish locations. Each venue is set in a charming and 
authentic Spanish village.not on your average tourist trail!   There are still 
some openings for this summer.but going fast! They are open to 13-19 year olds 
(not at university) and run for either 1 or 2 weeks in the month of July.  As 
you are a teacher who has previously benefitted from this adventure yourself, 
you may well have students, or colleagues & associates with students who may be 
interested in getting involved. Attached is a presentation that we've put 
together that we hope you could make use of in order to show the students what 
it's all about. If there is some way you could integrate it into a lesson or 
any other time then it may just be the catalyst that they need to start them on 
that particular journey. They could then contact us for any further details and 
in order to apply! Of course, this is open to all, not just students. So, if 
you have sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, cousins etc  that may fit the bill 
then of course let them know too! Any questions or anything further that you 
might need from us, please just ask.  Also, maybe of interest to you: there are 
some new teachers programs we have just opened in July for adults. They take 
place in Galicia in the north of Spain (venue to be confirmed) and the Spanish 
participants are all teachers from that region. The dates are: ·         June 
29th-July 6th·         July 6-13th·         July 13-20th·         July 20-27th 
There are some more of the finer details to be confirmed, but you can now 
select these on the website through your Personal Program Page.  We hope that 
this program can continue to be of great benefit to teenagers and adults alike
