I believe that this is a requirement of the testing department (something to do with the program that they use) rather than of the Inspectorate... But I agree that it can make things difficult. Your examples are one good reason to do the project in 11th grade, though. For example, a student who is a weak 5 point student. he did E at the end of YA and got a decent grade. just to make sure, he wants to do C and D in the winter and then wants to try for F and G in the summer. this is what the NBA was supposed to encourage, right? BUT - his class is only completing the project by the end of january and he can't be tested orally before that! OR - his class did the project in YA. At the end of YA, he and his friend got a decent grade on E. in order to do C and D in the winter, they have to be tested orally before that. but will the ministry send a teacher to test 2 pupils? and really, why is the oral necessary before? ----------------------------------------------- ** Etni homepage - http://www.etni.org or - http://www.etni.org.il ** ** for help - ask@xxxxxxxx ** ** to post to this list - etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** -----------------------------------------------
