Dear English teachers,
Shiur Beyachad (Teach Together) offers meaningful personal volunteering in the
educational system, in collaboration with the ministry of education, to promote
English, math and science studies.
The program integrates volunteers as support instructors during school hours,
in synergy with the classroom teacher. The support instructors bring added
value to the class with their knowledge and experience, while enriching the
students learning experience, motivating and encouraging them to succeed.
We are still offering this volunteer opportunity for the current school year
and will appreciate your help in reaching out to potential English speaking
volunteers using your networks (friends, colleagues, communities, Facebook
groups, mailing lists or anyone else you find appropriate). Feel free to spread
the word as widely as possible.
Shiur Beyachad is already in its 5th year, with over 400 volunteers operating
in more than 130 schools across Israel.
