Many teachers have already been told that their schools were going to
implement HOTS this year in spite of the Irgun's instructions. Maybe because
Ran Erez has promised that the problem would be solved soon. He brought all
the teachers' grievances before Mr. Shoshani (http://WWW.irgun-hamorim.org
IL/index.asp?action=readwek), who promised to deal with the issues. Erez
hopes for an agreement soon, but I'm afraid he's overly optimistic.
I hope English teachers won't let themselves be railroaded into complying
before the Irgun finishes its dealings with the Ministry.

Kol hakavod to Nina for stating so clearly what some of us, and I hope it's
not just a small minority, have been saying all along. Most of us are not
happy with the situation, to put it mildly, and when some of us try to take
steps to improve the situation , many just carry on, accepting a heavier and
heavier load, and weakening the case of those who are trying to make things
better for everyone.
