**** ETNI on the web http://www.etni.org.il http://www.etni.org **** Hi Noel, As in my previous message: If you follow the link on the front page of ETNI to: Summer Bagrut 2004 (linked both under "What's New" and "Bagrut Info") You will get to the February 2004 bulletin but this time click on the link: Accommodations for LD Pupils for the Bagrut Exams – Existing Format if she is in the 12th grade or Accommodations for LD Pupils for the Bagrut Exams – Tzvira Format if she is in the 10th or 11th grade In both cases - the pupils hatamot are a school decision so it is not necessary to get in touch with the more - rather with the school psychologist or counsellor to sort this out. As for your second question - there is no doubt in my mind that AS SOON as anyone knows the times of the listenings, this information will be posted on ETNI. Alternately, there is a form in the testing departments site that you can fill in to ask them for this information: http://cms.education.gov.il/EducationCMS/Units/Exams/ContactUs.htm Gail ----- Original Message ----- From: "Noel - Ben Dunsky" <noelbd@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 20, 2004 2:16 PM Subject: [etni] LD + listening - urgent questions !!! > > Hi all ! > 1) A student has the following accomodations: "maximum testing time", "spelling exemption", "electronic dictionary" and "hakraat sheelon". She is one of those who really needs them in order to demonstrate het rather good English proficiency. But alas, due to her understandable absent-mindedness, she notified her school about her condition only last week. > > My question is: > > What's the direct phone number of the MOE person with whom she can directly confirm whether she will actually be getting what she rightfully deserves on the 18th of May. > > 2) The students really need to know the exact time for the listening comprehension broadcast so that they can start practicing their exam time management strategies. Please notify the teachers ASAP in light of the current confusion regarding the overlapping of the existing 4-5 pts format and the Tzvira mudule E. The Bagrut, dare I remind you, is in no less than 1 month, which is quite soon... > > thanking in advance, > > Noel Dunsky, > Tel-Aviv > > > > ##### To send a message to the ETNI list email: etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ##### > ##### Send queries and questions to: ask@xxxxxxxx ##### > > ##### To send a message to the ETNI list email: etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ##### ##### Send queries and questions to: ask@xxxxxxxx #####
