Thanks Francine.
Jade was special. We dedicated our textbook, Strides, to her.
Unfortunately, she didn't live long enough to see it in print. She's not
forgotten. May her memory be blessed and her outlook on life an inspiration
to us all.

It has been almost ten years since we lost Jade, our dear friend and
colleague. It was Tisha B-Av, in the middle of the 2nd Lebonese war, when
she left us. As part of her legacy, I kept her writings. Jade loved to
write. I went through it piece by piece and organized it to the best of
my ability. I even saved a cd of her singing. Our hard of hearing friend
had the voice of an angel and kept perfect pitch. Her family knew that
when they were ready, when they had reached the point in their grieving
process that they could read her words and listen to her voice, I would
return it to them.
Her son Aylam will be coming by in the next few hours to pick it up. It
is ready for him. It is his.
Just letting you know that I have copied her songs onto my computer.
