Subject: hard of hearing students
Hi All,
This is the season when the Shema (hard of hearing) branch of the
ministry is hard at work figuring out the individual allowances for
all hard of hearing students taking the bagrut this year.
Unfortunately, every year there are a few hard of hearing students who
don't get the allowances they need on the bagrut because the school
didn't file properly.
If you have a hard of hearing student in your class, please make sure
the school filed. If you are not sure, then feel free to contact me
if you teach in the North and Naomi Epstein for the rest of the
country.
It is heart-breaking when a hard of hearing student is forced to do a
listening comprehension because the school forgot to file.
