You have to be clear about many things. For example - how are they going to hand in the work? if it is an online site with answers, how do you know they have done it? How do you show the students that your homework tasks are important and relevant? I personally have students send me screen shots if its a self check site and email the worksheet if its an exercise I have prepared. Might not work for everyone. I give online homework to all my students once a week, every Monday, whether they learn English that day or not , even if they were absent. I don't grade homework but I keep a record "done" not "done" and it does affect teacher evaluation. I do give options for making up missed homework. Best of luck!
