English nursery rhymes differ from children's rhymes in Hebrew in many
ways. Snippets of dubious origin, nonsensical and often violent - they are
fascinating and yes, relevant to English teachers and the EFL classroom.

offer choice to our pupils, based on familiar topics and activities taught in
the elementary school.
