I would like to bring to your attention a public lecture series my
department wil be offering as of this coming December on "Revisiting the
Classics of English Literature," which I believe will be of interest to the
subscribers and visitors to your website.

The lecture series will offer lectures contextualizing and analyzing
clasical works of English and American literature and culminate in a
workshop especially designed for teachers of English in Israeli highschools.
I believe the lecture series could be beneficial to English teachers both as
cultural enrichment and as a practical tool for the classroom, especially
now that English literature, as I understand, will once again be part of the
bagrut exams. I understand that as a series given by TAU as a "mossad mukar"
the lecture series would be approved for English teachers for "gmul
hishtalmut."
