Subject: Debating for 7th-8th graders in central area
Dear teachers and parents,
Following our very successful Summer Debating Workshop which took place in
Aleh Lod High School for Sciences in July,2003, we are glad to announce that
the first meeting of the English Debating Club (chug) will take place on
the premises of our school, 33 Chaim Moshe Shapira Street, Lod. The meetings
will take place on Thursday, from 16.00 to 17.30 p.m.(old building).
Please note that the meeting is open to 7th-8th graders (both n.s.and
proficient non-native speakers) from the Central area including those with
no previous debating experience or who did not attend the Summer Workshop,
so please free to invite your students and children to come along for a
trial session.
We have participants from Rehovot, Beer Yaakov, Ramla -Lod and other central
area places.
