HI all,
A colleague from Virginia, Anne Pemberton (a tech whiz!), has put
together a great web-site/printable abc book series.
Simply outlined, you can add teacher and student name, view mini-books
with things that begin with each letter in story form--and print them
out for use in class or tutoring.

The items are geared for younger ESL or native speakers, so check the
content--also for those of you who are concerned about religious
content, check out letter story content carefully.

Enjoy,

Ellen

A note from Anne Pemberton:

"The alphabet series of my personalized books, My Own Books is now
complete and available at
http://www.educationalsynthesis.org/books/Alphabet

If you are teaching the alphabet one-on-one, these books make an
excellent resource since the child reads his/her name over and over in
the story, as well as the teacher/parent's name. If you are teaching a
class, it is suggested that you print out the series using a different
student name in each one, repeating names as needed. The class will
enjoy hearing/reading a classmate's name in the stories as much as
reading their own name.

I've done my best to catch all typos and errors, but if I missed
any, please let me know."
