I stand corrected and am posting Dr. Judy Steiner's answer Avi Tsur The Book Approval Dept. of the Ministry of Education is in the process of evaluating electronic dictionaries. When the process is complete, we will post a list of the approved dictionaries. In the meantime, for students who have an ivchun and permission to use an electronic dictionary, they can buy any electronic dictionary that translates at the word level, and that does NOT translate sentences. Also, the listening function of the dictionary cannot be used during exams.
