Many people have written to me about taxes.
I know nothing, I'll give you my name, rank offense, and cereal flavor.
Several years ago I found out that an Israeli company called X-pat would file
for you with the IRS and if you had kids under 18, you would get $$ for each
kid. ( This sounds like one of the scams I wrote about in my last column
article, but it isn't).
So, as my wife is a US citizen, we have been filing properly for years.
For those of you who just found out about it, I suggest you find a good tax
auditor or whatever they are called. The AACI is also giving advice and they
have a brochure.
I don't think staying under the pillow is going to work this time
